1. An easy/safe route with variable mileage/difficulty. Would like to be able to do it mindlessly and increase or decrease difficulty depending on time of year and fitness requirements.
2. A bike that doesn't require set up/break down. Should have lights, reflectors, etc.
3. Fenders?
4. Panniers or backpack?
5. MTB pedals so walking shoes can be used.
