A friend told me about a tip he learned in Spain. Use an exacto or other sharp cutting object to shave off a thin layer of brake rubber/compound every few rides. This will help reduce brake squeal and chatter, but will require much more frequent brake changes/replacements.
I have fore sale, used for 1 season, a set of AC Sprint 350's. Nice wheels. Light and stiff! Used one season. Got a new set of wheels with my new Cannondale and it's time to clear out some of the clutter. Shimano compatible. Stay tuned for pictures.
LT testing is the next step after training with a power meter. Get the real picture of your fitness and any improvement. Equipment is surprisingly inexpensive, like the Lactate Pro, found here. They all look and work like little diabetes monitoring machines, like these here. Here's a multisport LT testing protocol, and a Velonews version here.
Please post your ride routes in the comments. Give distance, location, difficulty, traffic concerns, climbing, and best times, maps (and whatever else you see fit). For group rides add a time and a schedule. For an incredible ride across the country, find it here.
